Generative AI (GenAI)

A broad category of AI models that learn patterns from input training data to generate novel, original content - such as text, images, or synthetic patient data - rather than just analyzing or predicting existing data. Examples include Copilot generating written responses and Inpatient/Outpatient Insights generating chart summaries.
