Application Reporting Leads (ARL)

ARL is an analytics role focused on how clinical information system reports are built, configured and deployed to support in-system clinical inquiry; usually one person on each clinical information system (CIS) application team who takes on additional responsibilities related to reporting.

Within the Connect Care initiative, ARLs are members of application teams (e.g. ambulatory, orders, etc.) responsible for building out the reporting needs for their applications including, but not limited to: Reporting Workbench, Radar, Registries, Metrics, and Extracts. They function as satellite members of the central reporting team and own Reporting configuration accountabilities.
