Nephrology

Epic's Nephrology module gathers tools, flowsheets, templates, displays, reports and data submissions important to the care of patients with chronic renal failure.

Dashboards help monitor dialysis services and track quality metrics. Still emerging, this module is soon to incorporate acute dialysis and other nephrology supports. Part of the Epic integrated clinical information system, Nephrology is tightly coupled with other care management and documentation tools across the continuum of care.
