Epic's SlicerDicer data exploration, analytics and reporting tool simplifies access to clinical data pertaining to highly definable populations.

SlicerDicer allows clinicians, managers and researchers to answer questions about health risks, diagnoses, interventions, outcomes, costs, etc. Interactive visual tools facilitate easy comparison of different populations and datasets can be saved to Reporting Workbench for recall or other purposes.

Users can create self-service SlicerDicer reports by narrowing a population of records, breaking the population into groups, and selecting which metrics to view.
