Automation Bias

Refers to a human tendency to over-rely and blindly trust recommendations or outputs from automated systems, accepting them over one's own better judgment or contradictory evidence. In particular, humans may invest more authority in computerized systems than may be warranted. Clinicians may over-trust AI outputs, suspending warriness and becoming more vulnerable to hidden errors or false reasoning.
